Maybe this one is obvious for seasoned marketers, but I had a moment when I found out about Bump Offers.

What’s a bump offer you ask? 👇

I’ve always heard about upsells, but the main difference with bump offers is that these are offers shown to the customer BEFORE the checkout, not after.

The key to succeeding with bump offers is that they need to COMPLEMENT the main product.

And they need to be cheaper.

For example: if you sell a yoga course for $99, a potential bump offer could be a guided meditation audio that you sell for $9 before the checkout.

It's so simple, yet I haven’t seen it much in digital products.

🕵️‍♂️ How to Steal it?

Complement your main offer with a low-priced one.

Some ideas: templates, worksheets, ebooks, a low-priced membership or community access.

The key here is to make it a no-brainer to add to the cart because it’s a nice complement to the main thing.

If you manage to get the customer all the way to the cart, this is likely to work, as you already have the customer’s trust.
